ಕಾರವಾರ: ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮುಂದಿನ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸುವಂತೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕೆಪಿಸಿಸಿ ಸಂಯೋಜಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗ ಸಮಾಜದ ಮುಖಂಡರಾದ ಭಾಸ್ಕರ ಪಟಗಾರ ಅವರು,  ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಹೈಕಮಾಂಡ್‌ಗೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

2023ರ ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹುಮತ ಪಡೆಯುವಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಪಿಸಿಸಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರ ಪಾತ್ರ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮಹತ್ವದ್ದಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಉತ್ತರ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಭಟ್ಕಳ, ಅಂಕೋಲಾ, ಶಿರಸಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳ ಮತದಾರರು ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಮೇಲಿನ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ಗೆ ಬೆಂಬಲ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಡಿ ಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ ಅವರು “ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ದಶಕಗಳಿಂದ ನಿಷ್ಠೆಯಿಂದ ದುಡಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವ, ಸಂಘಟನಾ ಚಾತುರ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ನಾಯಕತ್ವ ಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರನ್ನು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಅದು ಪಕ್ಷದ ಹಿತಕ್ಕೂ, ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಹಿತಕ್ಕೂ ಸೂಕ್ತವಾಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ..

ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಚೆಗೆ ಗ್ರಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಮನವಿ ಇದೀಗ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.

Karwar: Bhaskar Patagar, KPCC Coordinator of Uttara Kannada district and a prominent leader of the Vokkaliga community, has strongly urged the Congress High Command to appoint D.K. Shivakumar as the next Chief Minister of Karnataka.

He recalled that the leadership of KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar played a decisive role in securing a clear majority for the Congress Party in the 2023 Assembly elections. Voters from various communities across several constituencies including Bhatkal, Ankola, and Sirsi in Uttara Kannada had extended strong support to the Congress, trusting his leadership, he said.

“D.K. Shivakumar has worked with loyalty and dedication for decades within the party. His organisational skills, crisis-handling capacity, and strong leadership qualities make him the right choice. Appointing him as Chief Minister will be in the interest of both the party and the state,” Patagar stated.

Amid growing discussions both within the district and the party about the demand to make D.K. Shivakumar the Chief Minister, this appeal has now gained further significance.
