ಕಾರವಾರ: ಕೈಗಾದಿಂದ ಮಲ್ಲಾಪುರ ಟೌನ್‌ಶಿಪ್‌ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತೆರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಟೆಂಪೋ ಪಲ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ 16ಮಂದಿ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡ ಘಟನೆ ಸೋಮವಾ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಕೈಗಾ ಅಣು ಸ್ಥಾವರದಲ್ಲಿ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಕಂಪನಿಯೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಹೊರಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಶಿಫ್ಟ್‌ ಮುಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಟೌನ್‌ಶಿಪ್‌ಗೆ ಮರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವೇಳೆ ಈ ದುರ್ಘಟನೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ. ಚಾಲಕನ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ತಪ್ಪಿದ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಟೆಂಪೋ ರಸ್ತೆ ಬದಿಗೆ ಪಲ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡ 16 ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಹೋದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಕಾರವಾರ ಕ್ರಿಮ್ಸ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಸಣ್ಣಪುಟ್ಟ ಗಾಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಯಾವುದೇ ಜೀವ ಹಾನಿ ಉಂಟಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.
ಘಟನಾ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಮಲ್ಲಾಪುರ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ಪಲ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಟೆಂಪೋವನ್ನು ಕ್ರೇನ್‌ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ತೆರವುಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
Karwar: A private tempo traveling from Kaiga towards the Mallapur Township overturned on Monday, injuring 16 workers on board.
The contract workers, employed by a private company at the Kaiga Nuclear Power Plant, were returning to the township after completing their night shift when the accident occurred. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn on the roadside.
All 16 injured workers were immediately shifted to Karwar District Hospital (KRIMS) with the help of locals and fellow workers. Fortunately, all of them sustained only minor injuries, and no casualties were reported.
Mallapur police visited the spot, conducted an inspection, and registered a case. The overturned tempo was later removed with the help of a crane.
