ಧಾರವಾಡ: ಖ್ಯಾತ ಕಾಮಿಡಿ ಯೂಟ್ಯೂಬರ್ ಮುಕಳೆಪ್ಪ, ಅನ್ಯ ಧರ್ಮದ ಯುವತಿಯ ಜೊತೆ ಮದುವೆ ಆಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಸ ತಿರುವು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವತಃ ತನ್ನ ಪತ್ನಿ ಗಾಯತ್ರಿಯ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಲವ್ ಜಿಹಾದ್ ಆರೋಪ ಮಾಡ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಯಾವುದೇ ಲವ್ ಜಿಹಾದ್ ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾವು ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.ಯಾವುದೇ ಮತಾಂತರ ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲ. ನನ್ನ ಪತ್ನಿ ಅವಳ ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲೇ ಇರುತ್ತಾಳೆ, ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲೇ ಇರುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಕಲಾವಿದರಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾತಿ ಧರ್ಮ ತರಬೇಡಿ. ನಮ್ಮನ್ನ ಬದುಕಲು ಬಿಡಿ ಎಂದು ಕೈ ಮುಗಿದು ಮುಕಳೇಪ್ಪ. ವಿನಂತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

Dharwad: Comedian Mukaleppa Breaks Silence on Interfaith Marriage AllegationsF amous comedian Mukaleppa has given a fresh twist to the controversy surrounding his marriage to a woman from a different religion. For the first time, he, along with his wife Gayatri, has released a joint statement addressing the issue.

Mukaleppa stated, “There are allegations of ‘love jihad’ against me, but I have not committed any such act. We got married with mutual consent. There has been no conversion involved. My wife will continue in her faith, and I will continue in mine. There should be no caste or religion-based prejudice among artists. Please let us live our lives.”

Gayatri also clarified, “I have always been a Hindu. The claims that my husband made me convert are false. We have loved each other for three years before getting married. No one brainwashed anyone. Please do not spread false news and allow us to live in peace.”
