ದಾಂಡೇಲಿ : ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಘಟಕ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸೌರಭ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಒಡಗೋಲ ಇವರ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಡಮಾಡುವ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಕಾವ್ಯ ಕೇಸರಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗೆ ನಗರದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕವಯಿತ್ರಿ ಪದ್ಮಶ್ರೀ ಎಸ್. ಜೈನ್ ಅವರು ಭಾಜನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕನ್ನಡದ ತೇರು ಎಳೆಯೋಣ ಬಾರ ಅಭಿಯಾನದ ರಾಜ್ಯಮಟ್ಟದ ಕಾವ್ಯಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ಪದ್ಮಶ್ರೀ ಎಸ್.ಜೈನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಿ ಈ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ 130ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕವನಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪದ್ಮಶ್ರೀ ಎಸ್. ಜೈನ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ 15ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ರಾಜ್ಯಮಟ್ಟದ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳು ಬಂದಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು.
ಬಿ.ಎಸ್ಸಿ, ಬಿ.ಎಡ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಗಣಿತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಪದವಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿರುವ ಇವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಮಟ್ಟದ ಗಾಯನ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಬಹುಮಾನವನ್ನು ಗಿಟ್ಟಿಸಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು.
Dandeli:Padmashree S. Jain, a teacher and poet from the city, has been honored with the prestigious State-level “Kavya Kesari” Award, jointly presented by the Karnataka State Children’s Literature Parishat (Bengaluru District Unit) and the Sahitya Saurabha Foundation.
She received this award and citation in recognition of her participation in the state-level poetry competition held under the campaign “Kannadada Teru Eleyoṇa Bāra” (“Let’s Raise the Chariot of Kannada”) organized to mark Karnataka Rajyotsava celebrations.
Padmashree S. Jain has already written over 130 poems and has been the recipient of more than 15 state-level awards for her literary contributions.
She holds B.Sc., B.Ed., and a Master’s degree in Mathematics, and during her student life, she actively participated in state-level singing competitions and sports meets, winning several prizes for her talents and achievements
