ವಿಶಾಖಪಟ್ಟಣ: ಮೂರನೇ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಂತಿಮ ಏಕದಿನ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಯುವ ಓಪನರ್ ಯಶಸ್ವಿ ಜೈಸ್ವಾಲ್ ಅಜೇಯ ಶತಕ ಬಾರಿಸಿ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಭರ್ಜರಿ ಜಯ ತಂದುಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಈ ಗೆಲುವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭಾರತ ಮೂರು ಪಂದ್ಯಗಳ ಸರಣಿಯನ್ನು 2-1ರಿಂದ ಗೆದ್ದು ಕವಚ ಕೈಸೇರಿಸಿತು.
ಟಾಸ್ ಗೆದ್ದು ಮೊದಲು ಬ್ಯಾಟಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಡಿದ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಆಫ್ರಿಕಾ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ 270 ರನ್ ಗುರಿ ನೀಡಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಭಾರತ ಆರಂಭದಿಂದಲೇ ಆಧಿಪತ್ಯ ಮೆರೆದಿತು.
ಯಶಸ್ವಿ ಜೈಸ್ವಾಲ್ – 121 ಚೆಂಡುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಜೇಯ 116 ರೋಹಿತ್ ಶರ್ಮಾ – 73 ಚೆಂಡುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 75 ಈ ಜೋಡಿ 25.5 ಓವರ್ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 155 ರನ್ಗಳ ಭಾರೀ ಆರಂಭ ನೀಡಿ ಗೆಲುವಿನ ಅಡಿಪಾಯ ಹಾಕಿತು. ಬಳಿಕ ವಿರಾಟ್ ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ ವೇಗದ ಅರ್ಧಶತಕ (45 ಚೆಂಡುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಜೇಯ 65) ಬಾರಿಸಿ ಭಾರತವನ್ನು ಸುಲಭ ಜಯದ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದಿನತ್ತ ನಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಭಾರತ 39.5 ಓವರ್ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 271/1 ರನ್ಗಳನ್ನು ಬಾರಿಸಿ ಗುರಿ ಮುಟ್ಟಿತು. ಪಂದ್ಯ ಅಂತ್ಯದ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಸ್ಟೇಡಿಯಂ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳ ಹರ್ಷೋದ್ಗಾರದಿಂದ ಕಂಗೊಳಿಸಿತು.

ಪಂದ್ಯದ ಬಳಿಕ ನಡೆದ ಟ್ರೋಫಿ ವಿತರಣೆ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಯಾಪ್ಟನ್ KL ರಾಹುಲ್ ಟ್ರೋಫಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ ತಂಡದ ಸದಸ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಿಸಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಟ್ರೋಫಿಯನ್ನು ದಿನದ ನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ಮಿಂಚಿದ ಯಶಸ್ವಿ ಜೈಸ್ವಾಲ್ಗೆ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ತಂಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಯೋತ್ಸಾಹದ ನಗೆ.

2-0 ಟೆಸ್ಟ್ ಸರಣಿ ಸೋಲಿನ ನೋವನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದುಹಾಕಿದಂತೆ ಭಾರತ ODIಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶಕ್ತಿಶಾಲಿ ಮರಳಾಟ ತೋರಿಸಿದೆ. ಬ್ಯಾಟಿಂಗ್, ಬೌಲಿಂಗ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ತೋರಿದ ಒಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ತಂಡದ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದೆ.

ಇದೀಗ ಎರಡೂ ತಂಡಗಳು ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 9, ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಕಟಕ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಂಭವಾಗುವ ಐದು ಪಂದ್ಯಗಳ T20I ಸರಣಿಗೆ ಸಜ್ಜಾಗುತ್ತಿವೆ.

Visakhapatnam:In the third and final One-Day International, India registered a thumping win as young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed an unbeaten century, guiding the team to a comfortable victory. With this win, India sealed the three-match series 2-1, lifting the ODI trophy.
South Africa, after winning the toss and opting to bat first, set a target of 270 runs for India. However, India dominated right from the beginning.
Yashasvi Jaiswal – unbeaten 116 off 121 balls, Rohit Sharma – 75 off 73 balls
The aggressive opening pair provided a massive foundation with a 155-run stand in 25.5 overs. Later, Virat Kohli accelerated the chase with a quickfire 65 off 45 balls*, steering India smoothly towards victory.
India comfortably chased down the target, scoring 271/1 in 39.5 overs. The stadium erupted with cheers from Indian fans as the team crossed the finish line.
Series Win – Trophy Celebration
During the post-match trophy presentation, captain KL Rahul received the series trophy and celebrated with the team. He then handed the trophy to the star of the day, Yashasvi Jaiswal, whose brilliant knock defined the match. The entire team rejoiced in the moment of triumph.
From Test Series Loss to ODI Redemption
After suffering a 2-0 defeat in the Test series, India made a strong comeback in the ODIs. The collective performance in batting, bowling, and fielding has significantly boosted the team’s confidence.
Next Up – T20I Series in Cuttack
Both teams now move on to the five-match T20I series starting on December 9, Tuesday in Cuttack.
The match begins at 7 PM, and India will look to continue its dominance in white-ball cricket.
