ಭಾರತ ಸುತ್ತಲು ನೇಪಾಳದಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಸೈಕಲ್ ಯಾತ್ರಿ : ಕಾರವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಡಾರ

ಕಾರವಾರ:ಸೈಕಲ್ ಮೂಲಕ ದೇಶ ಉದ್ದಗಲಕ್ಕೂ ಸುತ್ತುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಸಂದೇಶ ಸಾರುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ನೇಪಾಳದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟಿರುವ ಸೈಕಲ್ ಯಾತ್ರಿ ಲಾಲಾ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಅವರು ಬುಧವಾರ ಸಂಜೆ ಕಾರವಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದರು.

ನೇಪಾಳದಿಂದ ಯಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದ ಈ ಯುವಕ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ 8 ಸಾವಿರ ಕಿಲೋಮೀಟರ್ ಸೈಕಲ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರವಾಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಳೆದ ಆರು ತಿಂಗಳಿನಿಂದ ನಿರಂತರ ಸೈಕಲ್ ಸಂಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಇವರು ಬಿಹಾರ, ಉತ್ತರಾಖಂಡ್, ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶ, ಹಿಮಾಚಲ ಪ್ರದೇಶ, ಜಮ್ಮು-ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರ, ರಾಜಸ್ಥಾನ, ಗುಜರಾತ್, ಗೋವಾ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸಿ ಕಾರವಾರದ ಮೂಲಕ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಟಾಗೋರ್ ಬೀಚ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ್ತವ್ಯ ಹೂಡಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರಿಗೆ ಗಿಡ ನೆಡುವ ಮಹತ್ವ ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಿಂದ ಕೇರಳ, ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು, ಆಂಧ್ರಪ್ರದೇಶ, ಛತ್ತೀಸ್‌ಗಢ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಮರಳಿ ಬಿಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಯಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಯಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಸರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Nepali Cyclist Touring India for Environmental Awareness Reaches Karwar
Karwar:With the aim of spreading the message of environmental conservation by touring across the country on a bicycle, Nepal-based cyclist Lala Krishna arrived in Karwar on Wednesday evening.

Having begun his journey from Nepal, the young cyclist has already covered 8,000 kilometres on his bicycle. He has been continuously travelling for the last six months, covering states such as Bihar, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Goa, before entering Karnataka through Karwar.

He has set up camp at Tagore Beach, where he is creating awareness among tourists about tree planting and environmental protection. From Karnataka, he plans to continue his journey through Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, before finally concluding his expedition in Bihar.

During his journey, he visits schools, colleges and tourist spots to spread awareness about the importance of protecting the environment.
