ಆಪರೇಷನ್ ಬಿಪಿಎಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ :ಅರ್ಹತೆ ಇಲ್ಲದವರ ಪಡಿತರ ರದ್ದು

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು : ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿನ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಬಿಪಿಎಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್‌ದಾರರಿಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಹೊಸ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಹೊರಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದು ಚರ್ಚೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅರ್ಹತೆ ಇಲ್ಲದವರಿಂದ ಬಿಪಿಎಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ದುರುಪಯೋಗವಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪರಿಣಾಮ, ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ‘ಆಪರೇಷನ್ ಬಿಪಿಎಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್’ ಎನ್ನುವ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪರಿಶೀಲನಾ ಅಭಿಯಾನವನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದೆ.

ಈ ಅಭಿಯಾನದ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 7.76 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬಿಪಿಎಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ರದ್ದುಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಅಥವಾ ಎಪಿಎಲ್ ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಲು ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರೊಳಗೆ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ 4.09 ಲಕ್ಷ ಕಾರ್ಡ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ರದ್ದುಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಉಳಿದ ಕಾರ್ಡ್‌ಗಳ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಹತೆ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವುದು ದೃಢಪಟ್ಟರೆ ಕಾರ್ಡ್‌ಗಳು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿ ರದ್ದುಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿವೆ, ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ಕೆಲವು ಎಪಿಎಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್‌ಗಳಾಗಿ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿವೆ.

ಕೆಲವು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಈ ರದ್ದು ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದೆ: ಮಾನದಂಡ ರದ್ದುಪಡಿಸಿದ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಕಾರಣ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಆದಾಯ ಮಿತಿ ಮೀರುವವರು ಸುಮಾರು 5,80,415 ನಿಗದಿ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ₹1.20 ಲಕ್ಷ ಆದಾಯ ಮಿತಿಗಿಂತ ಅಧಿಕ ಆದಾಯ ಕೃಷಿ ಭೂಮಿ ಮಿತಿ ಮೀರುವವರು 3,47,120 7.5 ಎಕರಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕೃಷಿ ಭೂಮಿ ಹೊಂದಿರುವುದು ಎರಡು ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ಹೊಂದಿರುವವರು ಸುಮಾರು 40,000 ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲೂ ಪಡಿತರ ಚೀಟಿ ಹೊಂದಿರುವುದು ಜಿಎಸ್ಟಿ ಪಾವತಿಸುವವರು ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯುತ್ತಿದೆ ಜಿಎಸ್ಟಿ ಪಾವತಿಸುವವರು ಬಿಪಿಎಲ್‌ನಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಹರಲ್ಲ.

Bengaluru :A new government decision concerning millions of BPL (Below Poverty Line) cardholders in the state has sparked discussions. To prevent the misuse of BPL cards by ineligible individuals, the government has launched a special verification drive called ‘Operation BPL Card’

Under this campaign, instructions have been issued to cancel or shift more than 7.76 lakh BPL cards to APL (Above Poverty Line) category. Among these, 4.09 lakh cards have already been cancelled. Verification of the remaining cards is still in progress. If it is confirmed during verification that the cardholder is ineligible, the card will be permanently cancelled, otherwise, some cards will be converted to APL category.
