ಕಾರವಾರ : ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕದಂಬ ನೌಕಾನೆಲೆಗೆ ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ದ್ರೌಪದಿ ಮುರ್ಮು ಅವರನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲ ಅವರು ಇಂದು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಥಾವರ್ ಚಂದ್ ಗೆಹಲೋಟ್, ಮೀನುಗಾರಿಕೆ, ಬಂದರು ಹಾಗೂ ಒಳನಾಡು ಜಲ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಸಚಿವರು ಮತ್ತು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಸಚಿವ ಮಂಕಾಳ ಎಸ್. ವೈದ್ಯ ಅವರು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.
ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಆಯುಕ್ತೆ ಜಯಂತಿ, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಕೆ. ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿಪ್ರಿಯಾ, ಎಡಿಜಿಪಿ ಹಿತೇಂದ್ರ, ಐಜಿಪಿ ಅಮಿತ್ ಸಿಂಗ್, ಎಸ್ಪಿ ದೀಪನ್ ಎಂ. ಎನ್. ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಉನ್ನತ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಕಾರವಾರ ನೌಕಾನೆಲೆಯ ಫೀಲ್ಡ್ ಆಫೀಸರ್ ಕಮಾಂಡೆಂಟ್ ರಿಯರ್ ಅಡ್ಮಿರಲ್ ವಿಕ್ರಂ ಮೆನನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ನೌಕಾಪಡೆಯ ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ದ್ರೌಪದಿ ಮುರ್ಮು ಅವರು ಭಾರತೀಯ ನೌಕಾಪಡೆಯ ಐಎನ್ಎಸ್ ವಾಗ್ಶೀರ್ ಸಬ್ಮೆರಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಸಬ್ಮೆರಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸಿದ ದೇಶದ ಎರಡನೇ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಎಂಬ ಮಹತ್ವದ ದಾಖಲೆಗೆ ಅವರು ಪಾತ್ರರಾದರು.
ಈ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡ್ಮಿರಲ್ ದಿನೇಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ತ್ರಿಪಾಟಿ, ಚೀಫ್ ಆಫ್ ದಿ ನೇವಲ್ ಸ್ಟಾಫ್ ಹಾಗೂ ರಿಯರ್ ಅಡ್ಮಿರಲ್ ವಿಕ್ರಂ ಮೆನನ್, ಫ್ಲಾಗ್ ಆಫೀಸರ್ ಕಮಾಂಡಿಂಗ್, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ನೇವಲ್ ಏರಿಯಾ ಅವರು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿಯನ್ನು ಜೊತೆಗಿದ್ದರು.
Karwar: The Hon’ble President of India, Droupadi Murmu, arrived today at the Kadamba Naval Base in Karwar, where she was warmly received by the Governor, Thawar Chand Gehlot; the Minister for Fisheries, Ports and Inland Water Transport and District In-charge Minister, Mankal S. Vaidya.
On the occasion, Regional Commissioner Jayanti, Deputy Commissioner K. Lakshmipriya, ADGP Hitendra, IGP Amit Singh, SP Deepan M. N., along with other senior police officials, were present. Field Officer Commandant of the Karwar Naval Base, Rear Admiral Vikram Menon, and senior officers of the Indian Navy were also in attendance.
The Hon’ble President Droupadi Murmu undertook a voyage aboard the Indian Navy submarine INS Vagsheer, thereby creating history by becoming the second President of the country to travel in a submarine.
On this special occasion, Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff, and Rear Admiral Vikram Menon, Flag Officer Commanding, Karnataka Naval Area, accompanied the President.
