ಮುಂಡಗೋಡ: ಟಿಬೆಟಿಯನ್ ಧರ್ಮಗುರು ದಲಾಯಿ ಲಾಮಾ ಅವರು ಇಂದು ಉತ್ತರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಮುಂಡಗೋಡಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಅವರ ಆಗಮನವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಟಿಬೆಟಿಯನ್ ಕಾಲೋನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ವಾತಾವರಣ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಆರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಮತ್ತೆ ಮುಂಡಗೋಡಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಲಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ದಲಾಯಿ ಲಾಮಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಟಿಬೆಟಿಯನ್ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಜನರು ಭಾರಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತದಿಂದ ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಮುಂಡಗೋಡದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಟಿಬೆಟಿಯನ್ ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಿಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ದಲಾಯಿ ಲಾಮಾ ಅವರು ಮುಂದಿನ 45 ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ್ತವ್ಯ ಹೂಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ

ಅವರ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ, ಬೋಧನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಟಿಬೆಟ್ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ದಲಾಯಿ ಲಾಮಾ ಆಗಮನದ ಹಿನ್ನಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಯಾಂಪ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಬದ್ಧ ಸ್ವಾಗತ, ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ವಿಧಿವಿಧಾನಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿವೆ.

Tibetan Spiritual Leader Dalai Lama Arrives in Mundgod
Mundgod: Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama arrived today in Mundgod of Uttara Kannada district, creating a festive atmosphere in the Tibetan settlement.

Returning to Mundgod after six long years, the Dalai Lama was welcomed with great enthusiasm by thousands of members of the Tibetan community. Upon his arrival at the Tibetan camp in Mundgod, it was announced that he will stay here for the next 45 days.

A large number of Tibetans are arriving to attend his religious discourses, teachings, and various programs. In view of the Dalai Lama’s visit, the camp area has been specially decorated, with traditional welcome ceremonies, cultural programs, and religious rituals being conducted.
