ಕಾರವಾರ : ಬೆಲೇಕೇರಿ ಅದಿರು ನಾಪತ್ತೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕಾರವಾರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಶಾಸಕ ಸತೀಶ್ ಸೈಲ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮಧ್ಯಂತರ ಜಾಮೀನನ್ನು ಜನಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ರದ್ದು ಪಡಿಸಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಮತ್ತೆ ಶಾಸಕ ಸೈಲ್ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿದ್ದು ಜೈಲು ಪಾಲಾಗುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ.
ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಇಡಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಸೈಲ್ ಅವರ ನಿವಾಸ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಕಡೆಗಳಿಗೆ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿ, ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ಚಿನ್ನಾಭರಣ ಮತ್ತು ನಗದು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಿದ್ದರು. ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸತೀಶ್ ಸೈಲ್ ದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ, ಇಡಿ (ED) ವಿಚಾರಣಾ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 25ರ ತನಕ ಜಾಮೀನು ನೀಡಿ ಆದೇಶ ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು. ನಂತರ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ವಿಚಾರವನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿ ಜಾಮೀನು ಅವಧಿಯನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಲು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಮನವಿಯನ್ನು ಜನಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ ನವೆಂಬರ್ 7ರ ತನಕ ಕಾಲಾವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಿತ್ತು.
ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಮಧ್ಯಂತರ ಜಾಮೀನು ರದ್ದಾದ ಹಿನ್ನಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಸೈಲ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಜೈಲು ಸೇರಬೇಕಾದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಎದುರಾಗಿದೆ. ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದ ತೀರ್ಪಿನಿಂದಾಗಿ ಸೈಲ್ ಮತ್ತೆ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Karwar: In connection with the Belekeri iron ore disappearance case, Karwar MLA Satish Sail, who is facing charges, has suffered a setback after the Special Court for Public Representatives cancelled the interim bail that had been granted to him. With this decision, Sail is once again in trouble and may have to return to jail.
In this case, Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials had conducted raids on the residence and related properties of Satish Sail and reportedly seized gold jewellery and cash worth several lakhs. Due to health issues, Satish Sail had been undergoing treatment in Delhi, following which the High Court had granted him interim bail until October 25. Citing ongoing medical treatment and health concerns, a plea was filed seeking extension of the bail period. The Special Court had then extended the bail till November 7.
However, with the interim bail now cancelled, Sail is once again facing the possibility of being sent back to jail. The latest court ruling has brought renewed trouble for him.
