ಕಾರವಾರ :ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ 66ರ ಸುರಂಗ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ, ಬಂದರು ಬಳಿ ಇಂದು ಮೂರು ಬಾಂಬ್ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು,ಬಾಂಬ್ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಆಗುಂತಕರನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಕಾರ್ಯಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ರೆಡ್ ಫೋರ್ಸ್ – ನೌಕಾ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಮಾರುವೇಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು ಬಾಂಬ್ ಮಾದರಿಯ ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಬ್ಲೂ ಫೋರ್ಸ್  ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಿ ನಿಷ್ಕ್ರಿಯಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ತಂಡದ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ. ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಬಂದರು, ಮೀನುಗಾರಿಕೆ ಬಂದರು, ರೈಲ್ವೆ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಕಚೇರಿ, ಕಾಳಿ ಸೇತುವೆ, ಮಲ್ಲಾಪುರ, ಕದ್ರಾ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಪಡೆ ನಿಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಮುಖ್ಯ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಹನ ತಪಾಸಣೆ ಜೋರಾಗಿದೆ; ಕಾಳಿ ಸೇತುವೆ, ಬೈತಖೋಲ, ಅರಗಾ, ಮುದಗಾ ಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚೆಕ್‌ಪೋಸ್ಟ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಕರಾವಳಿಯುದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ಬಿಗಿ ಬಂದೋಬಸ್ತ್ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಬಸ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಗಳು, ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಗಳು, ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಭದ್ರತಾ ಕವಚ ಬಿಗಿಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ತಟರಕ್ಷಕ ಪಡೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕರಾವಳಿ ಕಾವಲು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಅರಬ್ಬಿ ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಸ್ತು ತಿರುಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಹನ ತಪಾಸಣೆ ಅಥವಾ ಭದ್ರತಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಅನುಮಾನಾಸ್ಪದ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಅಥವಾ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡರೆ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಲು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಆದರೆ ಇದು ಅಸಲಿ ಬಾಂಬ್ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ ಅಲ್ಲ.! ಹುಸಿ ಬಾಂಬ್…! ಬಂಧನಕ್ಕೆ‌ ಒಳಗಾಗಿರುವವರೂ ಕೂಡಾ ಆಗುಂತಕರಲ್ಲ ಅವರೂ ಸಹ ಪೊಲೀಸರೇ. ಇದು ನಿಜವಾದ ದಾಳಿ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಅಣುಕು ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ. ಕರಾವಳಿ ಭದ್ರತೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ‌ ಮಾಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ನೌಕಾಪಡೆ, ತಟರಕ್ಷಕ ಪಡೆ, ಕರಾವಳಿ ಕಾವಲು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಹಾಗೂ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಈ ಅಣಕು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಆಯೋಸಿದೆ.

Three Dummy Bombs Found in Karwar! Police on High Alert Across Coast, Port, and Bridge Areas
Karwar: Three bomb-like objects were found today near the National Highway 66 tunnel road and the port area. The individuals who placed these bombs have been detained by the police.

The operation was carried out in two divisions:
Red Force: Naval personnel, disguised in civilian clothing, placed boxes resembling bombs at selected locations.

Blue Force: The responsibility of detecting and defusing these objects was assigned to the police teams.

Additional security forces have been deployed at the commercial port, fishing harbor, railway station, District Commissioner’s office, Kali bridge, Mallapur, Kadra and other key areas.
Vehicle checks have intensified on major roads. Checkposts have been set up at Kali Bridge, Baithkol, Arga, Mudaga and surrounding regions.

Tight security measures have been implemented across the coastal belt. Security has been tightened at bus stands, highways, and railway stations. The Coast Guard and coastal police are patrolling the Arabian Sea.

The public is requested to cooperate with vehicle inspections and other security measures. Citizens are also urged to immediately report any suspicious items or individuals to the nearest police station.

However, these were not real bombs — they were dummy training devices. The detained individuals are not intruders; they are police personnel themselves.
This was not a real attack, but a mock security drill. The exercise was jointly conducted by the Navy, Coast Guard, Coastal Security Police, and the District Police Department to assess and strengthen coastal security preparedness.
