ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು : ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ತಪ್ಪಿದ ಅಂಬ್ಯುಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಒಂದು ಬೈಕ್ ಸವಾರರಿಗೆ ಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಹೊಡೆದ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಭಟ್ಕಳ ಮೂಲದ ದಂಪತಿ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೇ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ದುರಂತ ಘಟನೆ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಮೃತರನ್ನು ಭಟ್ಕಳದ ಬಂದರ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಾದ ಇಸ್ಮಾಯಿಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮೀನಾ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಸಿಗ್ನಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಬೈಕ್ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದ ವೇಳೆ, ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಬಂದ ಅಂಬ್ಯುಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಚಾಲಕನ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ತಪ್ಪಿ ಬೈಕ್‌ಗಳಿಗೆ ಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಹೊಡೆದಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆಘಾತದಿಂದ ಅಂಬ್ಯುಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಪಲ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೇ ದಂಪತಿ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಘಟನೆಯ ನಂತರ ಅಂಬ್ಯುಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಚಾಲಕ ಪರಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ, ವಿಲ್ಸನ್ ಗಾರ್ಡನ್ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಮುಂದಿನ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Bengaluru: A tragic accident occurred in the city when an ambulance lost control and rammed into a bike, killing a couple from Bhatkal on the spot.
The deceased have been identified as Ismail and Sameena, residents of Bandar Road in Bhatkal. The couple had stopped their bike at a traffic signal when the speeding ambulance driver lost control and hit the two-wheeler. The impact caused the ambulance to overturn, resulting in the couple’s instant death at the scene.
After the incident, the ambulance driver fled the spot, but Wilson Garden Traffic Police later arrested the accused. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
