ಅಂಕೋಲಾ: ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಹಾರವಾಡ ಸಮುದ್ರ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲೆಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿದ್ದ ನಾಗರಹಾವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಸ್ಕಾಂ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯ ಜಂಟಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಮೂಲಕ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನಾಗರಹಾವು ಬಲೆಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಜೀವಮರಣ ನಡುವೆ ಹೋರಾಟ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನ ಗಮನಿಸಿದ  ಮೂಡೆ ಕಟ್ಟಾ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೆಸ್ಕಾಂ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ, ತಕ್ಷಣ ಉರಗ ತಜ್ಞನ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಕಳಸ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕಾಗಮಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಹಾಗೂ  ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಸಹಕಾರದಿಂದ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಹಾವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಕಾಡಿಗೆ ಬಿಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

Ankola: A cobra trapped in a fishing net at Haravada beach in Ankola taluk was safely rescued through a joint operation by local residents and HESCOM staff.

The reptile was struggling between life and death after getting entangled in the net. Locals, including HESCOM staff from Moode Katta, immediately alerted snake rescuer Prashanth Kalasa.

Upon arrival, Prashanth, with the help of local residents, swiftly carried out the rescue operation and released the cobra safely back into the wild.
