ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾದ ಚಿರತೆ : ಕ್ಯಾಮರಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆರೆ

ದಾಂಡೇಲಿ:ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಗಣೇಶಗುಡಿ ಬಳಿ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿರತೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರ ಕ್ಯಾಮರಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ದಾಂಡೇಲಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 10 ಕಿಲೋಮೀಟರ್‌ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ 10ನೇ ನಂಬರ್‌ ಸೇತುವೆ ಬಳಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವೇಳೆ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗ ವಾಹನದ ಎದುರು ಚಿರತೆ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಈ ವೇಳೆ ವಾಹನದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಕ್ಯಾಮರಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆರೆ ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಚಿರತೆ ರಸ್ತೆ ಬದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವಾಹನದ ಬೆಳಕು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ನಿದಾನಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಂತ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದೂರ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಕಾಡಿನೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.

ಚಿರತೆ ಕೆಲ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಸ್ತೆ ದಾಟಿ ಕಾಡಿನೊಳಗೆ ಅಂತರಧಾನವಾಗಿದೆ.ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಂಡೇಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿರತೆ ರಸ್ತೆ ದಾಟುತ್ತಿರುವ ಘಟನೆಗಳು ಹಲವು ಬಾರಿ ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿವೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ದಾಂಡೇಲಿಯ ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿ ವೈಭವ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಚರ್ಚೆಗೆ ಗ್ರಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮಕ್ಕೂ ಇದು ಹೊಸ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಯಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸಿದೆ.

Dandeli: A leopard was spotted near Ganeshgudi, Dandeli, and the rare sighting was captured on camera by a group of tourists.

Tourists traveling near the 10th Number Bridge, located about 10 kilometers from Dandeli, witnessed a leopard walking across the road in front of their vehicle. The visitors quickly recorded the moment on their mobile phones as the majestic animal calmly crossed the road.

The leopard briefly paused by the roadside upon noticing the vehicle’s headlights, then continued walking slowly before disappearing into the nearby forest. It vanished from sight within seconds after crossing the road.

In recent days, several similar leopard sightings have been reported in and around Dandeli, with the animals occasionally seen crossing roads.This has once again highlighted Dandeli’s rich wildlife heritage, adding a new charm to the region’s growing eco-tourism appeal.
