ಭಟ್ಕಳ: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ 66ರ ಮುಟ್ಟಳ್ಳಿ ಬೈಪಾಸ್ ಬಳಿ ನಡೆದ ಭೀಕರ ರಸ್ತೆ ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಕೂಟಿ ಸವಾರರೊಬ್ಬರು ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೇ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಘಟನೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ.
ಕುಂದಾಪುರದಿಂದ ಭಟ್ಕಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಅತಿವೇಗ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಜಾಗರುಕತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಸ್ ಚಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಚಾಲಕ ಎದುರುಗಡೆ ರಸ್ತೆ ಬದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಹೋಂಡಾ ಡಿಯೋ ಸ್ಕೂಟಿಯನ್ನು ಓವರ್‌ಟೇಕ್ ಮಾಡಲು ಯತ್ನಿಸುವ ವೇಳೆ ಎಡಭಾಗದಿಂದ ಡಿಕ್ಕಿಹೊಡೆದಿದೆ. ಡಿಕ್ಕಿಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದ ಸವಾರನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲಿಂದ ಬಸ್ಸಿನ ಹಿಂಬದಿ ಚಕ್ರ ಚಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿರುವ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಸವಾರ, ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೇ ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದ್ದಾನೆ..
ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೃತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನ ಸುಂದರ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ ಆಚಾರಿ(64) ಪುರವರ್ಗ ಗಣೇಶನಗರ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಹೆಲ್ಮೆಟ್ ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದರೂ ಅಪಘಾತದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಆತ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವ ವೇಳೆ ಬಸ್‌ನ ಹಿಂಬದಿ ಚಕ್ರ ಆತನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಲಿಸಿದ್ದು ಪರಿಣಾಮ ನುಜ್ಜುಗುಜ್ಜಾಗಿದೆ..
ಘಟನೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಮೃತರ ಅಳಿಯ ಗುರುರಾಜ ಭಟ್ಕಳ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೂರು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಮರಣೋತ್ತರ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ನಂತರ ಶವವನ್ನು ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ವಹಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಮೃತರು ಪತ್ನಿ, ಓರ್ವ ಕ ಪುತ್ರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಪುತ್ರರನ್ನು ಅಗಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸಿಪಿಐ ದಿವಾಕರ್ ಪಿ.ಎಂ, ಪಿಎಸ್‌ಐ ನವೀನ್ ನಾಯ್ಕ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದು, ಬಸ್ ಚಾಲಕನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ.
Bhatkal: A tragic road accident near the Muttalli Bypass on National Highway 66 in Bhatkal claimed the life of a scooter rider on the spot.
According to reports, a bus traveling from Kundapur towards Bhatkal at high speed and in a reckless manner attempted to overtake a Honda Dio scooter that was moving slowly on the roadside. During the maneuver, the bus struck the scooter from the left side. The impact caused the rider to fall onto the highway, where the rear wheel of the bus ran over his head, leading to his immediate death.
The deceased has been identified as Sundar Lakshman Achari, 64, a resident of Ganeshnagar in Puravarga. Though he was wearing a helmet, it could not prevent the fatal injuries as his head was crushed under the bus’s rear wheel after the
