ಮನೆಯ ಬಳಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಭಾರೀ ಗಾತ್ರದ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾವು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ

ಹೊನ್ನಾವರ : ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಖರ್ವಾ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯತ್ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಕಡಗೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೋಟವೊಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಭಾರೀ ಗಾತ್ರದ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಕಾಡಿಗೆ ಬಿಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಕಡಗೇರಿಯ ಗಜಾನನ ನಾಯ್ಕ ಎಂಬುವವರ ಮನೆ ಸಮೀಪದ ತೋಟದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರೀ ಗಾತ್ರದ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾವು ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು.ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಉರಗ ತಜ್ಞರನ್ನು ಕರೆಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ ಉರಗ ತಜ್ಞರು ತೋಟದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಇದು ಸುಮಾರು ಹತ್ತು ಅಡಿ ಉದ್ದವಿತ್ತು ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಹೆಬ್ಬಾವು ಹಿಡಿದಿರುವ ಸುದ್ದಿ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ನೂರಾರು ಜನರು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾವು ನೋಡಲು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು.ತೋಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿಯಲಾದ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾವನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

Honnavar: A massive python that had entered a plantation at Kadageri village under Kharwa Gram Panchayat limits was safely rescued and released back into the forest.

The snake was spotted late at night in the plantation near the house of Gajanana Naik of Kadageri. A snake rescuer was immediately called to the spot, and the expert successfully captured the python.

The reptile is said to have been about ten feet long. As news of the capture spread, hundreds of villagers gathered at the site to catch a glimpse of the snake. Later, the python was released safely into the forest.
