Accident News/ಜೋಯಿಡಾ: ರಾಮನಗರ -ಅನಮೋಡ್–ಗೋವಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯ ತಿನೆ ಘಾಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲ ಕ್ಷಣದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಭೀಕರ ಸರಣಿ ಅಪಘಾತ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಅಪಘಾತ ಪಿಕಪ್ ವಾಹನ ಚಾಲಕ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೇ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ಹಲವಾರು ಮಂದಿ ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ರಾಮನಗರದಿಂದ ಗೋವಾ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತೆರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ VRL ಬಸ್ ಒಂದು ಟ್ರಕ್‌ನ್ನು ಓವರ್‌ಟೇಕ್ ಮಾಡಲು ಮುಂದಾದಾಗ ಎದುರುಗಡೆಯಿಂದ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಟಾಟಾ  ಪಿಕಪ್‌ಗೆ ಭೀಕರವಾಗಿ ಡಿಕ್ಕಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಪರಿಣಾಮವಾಗಿ ಪಿಕಪ್ ಚಾಲಕ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೇ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಟಾಟಾ ಪಿಕಪ್ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಬುಲೆಟ್ ಬೈಕ್ ಕೂಡಾ ಅಪಘಾತಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿದ್ದು ಹಾನಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಬಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಟ್ರಕ್ ನಜ್ಜುಗುಜ್ಜಾಗಿದ್ದು, ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ತಪ್ಪಿದ ಟ್ರಕ್ ಪಲ್ಟಿಯಾಗುವ ಹಂತ ತಲುಪಿದೆ. ಬಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅನೇಕ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ಗಂಭೀರ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಯ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಘಟನೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ರಾಮನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ.

Joida: A horrific chain accident occurred on Wednesday evening at Tine Ghat along the Ramnagar–Anmod–Goa National Highway, claiming the life of a pickup driver on the spot and leaving several others seriously injured.

According to sources, a VRL bus traveling from Ramnagar towards Goa attempted to overtake a truck when it collided head-on with an oncoming Tata pickup. The pickup driver died instantly in the impact.

In the same sequence, a Bullet motorcycle trailing behind the pickup was also caught in the accident and damaged. Both the bus and the truck sustained severe damage, with the truck nearly overturning due to the collision. Several passengers aboard the bus sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the hospital.

Ramnagar Police have registered a case and further investigation is underway.
