ಮುಂಡಗೋಡ : ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಸಿಯೂಟ ಸೇವಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮಾದರಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ 22 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥಗೊಂಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಘಟನೆ ಮುಂಡಗೋಡದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
400ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿರುವ ಮುಂಡಗೋಡ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮಾದರಿ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದ ಬಿಸಿಯೂಟ ಸೇವಿಸಿದ ಕೆಲವು ಕ್ಷಣಗಳಲ್ಲೇ ವಾಂತಿ, ಹೊಟ್ಟೆನೋವು ಮತ್ತು ಅಜೀರ್ಣ ತೊಂದರೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ತಕ್ಷಣ 22 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಂಡಗೋಡ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅವರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ವೈದ್ಯರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸುದ್ದಿ ತಿಳಿದ ತಾಲೂಕು ವೈದ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಬಿಸಿಯೂಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲಿ ಹಿಕ್ಕೆ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಆರೋಪಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಶಾಲಾ ಆಡಳಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಹಾರ ಪೂರೈಸುವ ವಿಭಾಗದಿಂದ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಮುಂಡಗೋಡು ನಗರ ಠಾಣೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಈ ಘಟನೆಯ ನಂತರ ಪೋಷಕರು ಆತಂಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದ ಆಹಾರದ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ ಗಮನ ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Mundgod: An incident where 22 students fell ill after consuming the mid-day meal has been reported at the Government Model School in Mundgod.
In the school, which has more than 400 students, several children complained of vomiting, stomach pain, and indigestion just moments after eating the afternoon meal today. Immediately, 22 students were admitted to the Mundgod Government Hospital.
Doctors have stated that the admitted students were given prompt treatment and their health condition is now stable. Upon receiving information, the Taluk Medical Officer and health department staff visited the school and conducted an inspection.
Meanwhile, allegations have surfaced that a rat’s tail was found in the meal. In connection with this, details are being collected from the school administration and the food supply department. The incident took place under the jurisdiction of the Mundgod town police station.
Following the incident, parents have expressed concern and demanded that quality standards of mid-day meals in the school be strictly monitored.
