ಲೋಕಾಯುಕ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸ್ತಿ ವಿವರ ನೀಡದ ಶಾಸಕ ದಿನಕರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ-ಸತೀಶ ಸೈಲ್

ಕಾರವಾರ / ಕುಮಟಾ : ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಲೋಕಾಯುಕ್ತ ಕಚೇರಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ತಾಜಾ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ರಾಜ್ಯದ 16ನೇ ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆಯ 224 ಶಾಸಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು 27 ಮಂದಿ ತಮ್ಮ 2024-25ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಆಸ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಮಟಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಶಾಸಕ ದಿನಕರ್ ಕೇಶವ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರವಾರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಶಾಸಕ ಸತೀಶ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಸೈಲ್ ಇವರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳೂ ಸೇರಿವೆ.

ಲೋಕಾಯುಕ್ತ ಕಾನೂನು ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷದ ಜೂನ್ 30ರೊಳಗೆ ಶಾಸಕರು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹುದ್ದೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಆಸ್ತಿ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಲೋಕಾಯುಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಲ್ಲಿಕೆ ಗೈರು ಮಾಡಿದರೆ, ಕಲಂ 22(2) ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವಧಿ ಮೀರಿದ ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳ ನಂತರ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಬೇಕು.

ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 28, 2025ರವರೆಗೂ ವಿವರ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸದ ಶಾಸಕರ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಲೋಕಾಯುಕ್ತ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್, ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರೆ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ನಾಯಕರು ಸೇರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Karwar / Kumta: According to the latest information released by the Karnataka Lokayukta office, 27 out of the 224 MLAs of the 16th Karnataka Legislative Assembly have not submitted their asset and liability details for the year 2024-25 within the stipulated time. The names of Kumta BJP MLA Dinkar Keshav Shetty and Karwar Congress MLA Satish Krishna Sail are also included in this list.

As per the Lokayukta Act, all public officials, including MLAs, are required to submit details of their assets and those of their family members to the Lokayukta by June 30th every year. If they fail to do so, under Section 22(2), their names must be made public after a delay of two months.

Accordingly, the Lokayukta has published the list of MLAs who had not submitted their details as of August 28, 2025, which includes leaders from the Congress, BJP, and other parties.
