ಕಬ್ಬು ತುಂಬಿದ ಲಾರಿ-ಕಾರು ನಡುವೆ ಭೀಕರ ಅಪಘಾತ : ನಾಲ್ವರ ಸಾವು

ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟೆ:ಕಬ್ಬು ತುಂಬಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದ ಟ್ರ್ಯಾಕ್ಟರ್ಗೆ ಹಿಂಬದಿಯಿಂದ ಕಾರು ಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಹೊಡೆದು ನಾಲ್ವರು ಯುವಕರು ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಘಟನೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಜಮಖಂಡಿ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಸಿದ್ದಾಪುರ ಬಳಿ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ತಡರಾತ್ರಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ.

ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟ ಯುವಕರನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ್ (17), ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ (22), ಗಣೇಶ (20) ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್ (17) ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸಿದ್ದಾಪುರ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ.

ಸಿದ್ದಾಪುರ ಬಳಿರುವ ಸಕ್ಕರೆ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಗೆ ಕಬ್ಬು ಪೂರೈಸುವ ಟ್ರ್ಯಾಕ್ಟರನ್ನು ಬಿಜಾಪುರ-ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಅತಿವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಬಂದ ಕಾರು ಚಾಲಕನ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ತಪ್ಪಿ ಹಿಂಬದಿಯಿಂದ ಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಹೊಡೆದಿದೆ. ಡಿಕ್ಕಿಯ ರಭಸಕ್ಕೆ ಟ್ರ್ಯಾಕ್ಟರ್ ಕೆಳಗಡೆ ಕಾರು ಸಿಲುಕಿದ್ದು, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ನಾಲ್ವರು ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಕೊನೆಯುಸಿರೆಳೆದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Four Youth Killed in Horrific Collision Between Car and Sugarcane-Laden Tractor
Bagalkote: In a tragic incident, four young men died on the spot after the car they were traveling in rammed into a stationary sugarcane-laden tractor near Siddapur in Jamkhandi taluk late Tuesday night.

The deceased have been identified as Vishwanath (17), Praveen (22), Ganesh (20), and Prajwal (17) — all residents of Siddapur village.

According to police sources, the tractor loaded with sugarcane and meant for supply to a nearby sugar factory had been parked on the side of the Bijapur–Belagavi State Highway near Siddapur. The speeding car reportedly lost control and crashed into the rear of the tractor. Due to the force of the impact, the car got lodged beneath the tractor, killing all four occupants instantly.

Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident
