ಕಾರವಾರ: ನಗರದ ಬಿಲ್ಟ್ ವೃತ್ತದ ಬಳಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಗೂಡ್ಸ್ ಟೆಂಪೊ ವಾಹನಕ್ಕೆ ಆಕಸ್ಮಿಕವಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹೊತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಭಾರೀ ನಷ್ಟ ಉಂಟಾಗಿದೆ.

ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ಬದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಗೂಡ್ಸ್ ಟೆಂಪೊದ ಮುಂದಿನ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಕಸ್ಮಾತ್ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ವಾಹನದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಾಲಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಕ್ಲಿನರ್ ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರಾಣಹಾನಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಕೆನ್ನಾಲಿಗೆಗೆ ವಾಹನದ ಮುಂದಿನ ಭಾಗ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಸುಟ್ಟು ಕರಕಲಾಗಿದ್ದು ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ರೂ. ನಷ್ಟ  ಉಂಟಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಂದಾಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಬೆಂಕಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ನೀರು ಸುರಿದು ಬೆಂಕಿ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣಕ್ಕೆ ತರಲು ಹರಸಾಹಸ ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಳಿಕ ಘಟನೆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ದಳದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಂದಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಬೆಂಕಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಹಿನ್ನಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಕಾಲ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತಂಕದ ವಾತಾವರಣ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಘಟನೆಯ ನಿಖರ ಕಾರಣ ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ. ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಮುಂದಿನ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Karwar: A parked goods tempo near the Built Circle in Karwar city suddenly caught fire, resulting in heavy damage.

According to sources, the front portion of the vehicle parked by the roadside caught fire unexpectedly. Since neither the driver nor the cleaner were present at the spot, no casualties have been reported. However, the front portion of the vehicle was completely gutted in the blaze, causing an estimated loss of several lakhs of rupees.

Local residents tried to control the fire by pouring water in the initial stage. Later, the fire brigade personnel arrived at the scene and successfully extinguished the fire.

The sudden fire incident created a brief tense atmosphere in the area. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Police have registered a case and further investigation is underway.
