ಮುಂಡಗೋಡ: ಉತ್ತರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಮುಂಡಗೋಡ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಹಳ್ಳದಮನೆ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭತ್ತದ ಕೊಯ್ಲು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವೇಳೆ ಅಚ್ಚರಿಯ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಯ್ಲು ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಬೃಹತ್ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾವು ಒಂದು ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.

ಅಕಸ್ಮಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾವನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಕೃಷಿಕರು ಆತಂಕಗೊಂಡು ಗದ್ದೆಯಿಂದ ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಳಿಕ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮಾಹಿತಿ ತಿಳಿದ  ಅರಣ್ಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಮುತ್ತುರಾಜ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ತಂಡ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾವನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಹಿಡಿದು ಕಾಡಿನೊಳಗೆ ಬಿಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ಅರಣ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

An unusual incident occurred in Halladamane village of Mundgod taluk, Uttara Kannada district, when a giant snake appeared during paddy harvesting.

Farmers, who were busy with the harvest, were startled to see the massive snake and immediately ran out of the field in fear. They later informed the Forest Department about the situation.

Forest officer Mutturaj and his team rushed to the spot, safely captured the snake, and released it back into the forest.

Local residents have appreciated the swift and efficient action taken by the Forest Department.
