ಕುಮಟಾ: ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ನಾಡುಮಾಸ್ಕೇರಿ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಅನಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಈಶ್ವರ ಗೌಡ ಅವರು ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ..
ನಗರದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಕೆಲವರು ಹೊರರಾಜ್ಯದ ಖರೀದಿದಾರರಿಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಜಾಗವನ್ನು ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತಕ್ಕೆ ಹಲವು ಬಾರಿ ಮನವಿ ನೀಡಿದರೂ ಸ್ಪಂದನೆಯಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು, ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಗಂಭೀರ ಆರೋಪ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಸಹಕಾರದಿಂದಲೇ ಈ ಅವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಆದೇಶದ ಬಳಿಕವೂ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ತೆರವುಗೊಂಡಿಲ್ಲ. ಎಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ತಹಸೀಲ್ದಾರರಿಗೆ ದೂರು ನೀಡಿದ್ದರೂ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು. ಮುಂದಿನ ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳದಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಚ್ಚ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ದೂರು ದಾಖಲಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

President of Nadumaskeri Gram Panchayat in Kumta taluk, Eshwar Gowda, has made serious allegations that government land under the panchayat’s jurisdiction is being illegally sold.
Speaking at a press conference held at the Press Club in Kumta, he claimed that some individuals are attempting to sell government-owned plots to buyers from outside the state.He expressed anger that repeated appeals to the district administration have gone unanswered. He accused certain politicians and officials of being complicit in the irregularities, stating that the misuse of government land is happening with their cooperation.
Gowda further alleged that even after the Supreme Court’s orders, illegal constructions on these lands have not been removed. Despite submitting complaints to the Assistant Commissioner and the Tahsildar, no action has been taken so far. He warned that if the authorities fail to act within the next three months, he will approach the High Court to file a formal petition.
Vice President Vijaya K. Naik, members Ravi, Chandrashekar Naik, Dayanand Mehta, Nagaraj Tandel, Rajesh Naik, Girija Gowda, Madevi Gowda, Meenakshi Ager, Savita Naik, and Raghavendra Gowda were also present at the press meet.
