ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ರಿಷಬ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ನಟಿಸಿ, ನಿರ್ದೇಶನ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಬಹುನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ ‘ಕಾಂತಾರ: ಚಾಪ್ಟರ್ 1’ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಇಂದು ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಅನೇಕ ಕಡೆ ಶೋಗಳು ಹೌಸ್‌ಫುಲ್ ಆಗಿ ಸಂಚಲನ ಮೂಡಿಸಿದೆ.
ನಿನ್ನೆ ರಾತ್ರಿ ನಡೆದ ಪೇಯ್ಡ್ ಪ್ರೀಮಿಯರ್‌ಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಉತ್ತಮ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ದೊರಕಿದ್ದು, ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದೆ. 2 ಗಂಟೆ 48 ನಿಮಿಷ 53 ಸೆಕೆಂಡ್ ಉದ್ದದ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಯು/ಎ ಸರ್ಟಿಫಿಕೇಟ್ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದು, ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾದ ಕೆಲವೇ ಗಂಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಕ್ರೀನ್‌ಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ದಿನೇ ದಿನೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಭಾರತದಾದ್ಯಂತ 7000ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಸೇರಿ ಒಟ್ಟು 8000 ಸ್ಕ್ರೀನ್‌ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ವಿಶೇಷವೆಂದರೆ, ಇದು ಸ್ಪ್ಯಾನಿಷ್ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾದ ಮೊದಲ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಚಿತ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ.
125 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಬಜೆಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂಬಾಳೆ ಫಿಲ್ಮ್ಸ್ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿರುವ ಈ ಪ್ಯಾನ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ರಿಷಬ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯೇ ಕಥೆ ಬರೆದು ನಿರ್ದೇಶನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅರವಿಂದ್ ಕಶ್ಯಪ್ ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾ, ಅಜನೀಶ್ ಲೋಕನಾಥ್ ಸಂಗೀತ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ರುಕ್ಮಿಣಿ ವಸಂತ್, ಗುಲ್ಶನ್ ದೇವಯ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಜಯರಾಮ್ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿನಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮುಂಗಡ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಮಾರಾಟದಲ್ಲೂ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ದಾಖಲೆ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ 4 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಟಿಕೆಟ್‌ಗಳು ಮಾರಾಟವಾಗಿ, 11,800ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳಿಗೆ 11.46 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಆದಾಯ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಬ್ಲಾಕ್ ಸೀಟ್ ಸೇರಿಸಿದರೆ ಮೊತ್ತ 18.95 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ತಲುಪಿದೆ. ಕೇವಲ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲೇ 2,14,933 ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಮಾರಾಟವಾಗಿ, 1,780 ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳು ನಿಗದಿಯಾಗಿವೆ.
ಕ್ರಿ.ಶ. 300ರ ಕದಂಬ ವಂಶದ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಈ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಭೂತಕೋಲ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಮೂಲವನ್ನು ಅನಾವರಣಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಮೊದಲ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗನಾಗಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ರಿಷಬ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ,ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಯೋಧನ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Kantara: Chapter 1’ Grand Opening – Housefull Shows Across the Globe
Bengaluru: The much-awaited film ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’, written, directed, and acted by Rishab Shetty, released worldwide today and has created a sensation with housefull shows right from the morning.
Even the paid premieres held last night received highly positive responses, further boosting the expectations for the movie. With a runtime of 2 hours 48 minutes and 53 seconds, the film has been certified U/A, and within just a few hours of release, the number of screens continues to grow rapidly.
The film has been released on over 7,000 screens across India and 8,000 screens worldwide. Interestingly, this is the first Indian movie to also release in the Spanish language.
Produced by Hombale Films on a budget of ₹125 crore, this pan-India project has Rishab Shetty not only in the lead role but also as the story writer and director. The technical crew includes Arvind Kashyap (cinematography) and Ajaneesh Loknath (music). The film also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah, and Jayaram in key roles.
The film has already set records in advance ticket sales. Over 4 lakh tickets have been sold so far, generating around ₹11.46 crore from 11,800+ shows. Including block seat sales, the figure has reached ₹18.95 crore. In Karnataka alone, 2,14,933 tickets have been sold across 1,780 shows.
Set against the backdrop of the Kadamba dynasty in 300 AD, the movie explores the origins of the traditional ritual Bhoota Kola. While Rishab Shetty played the role of a villager in the first film, this time he appears as a warrior, bringing a new dimension to the narrative.
