ಜೋಯಿಡಾ: ದುಬಾರೆ ಆನೆ ಬಿಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ದುರಂತದ ಬೆನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ ಇದೀಗ ಉತ್ತರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಜೋಯಿಡಾ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಪನ್ಸೋಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆನೆ ಬಿಡಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಹಾಗೂ ಆನೆ ವೀಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕ ನಿರ್ಬಂಧ ಹೇರಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಮುಂದಿನ ಆದೇಶ ಬರುವವರೆಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರಿಗೆ ಬಿಡಾರ ಪ್ರವೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಈ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪನ್ಸೋಲಿ ಆನೆ ಬಿಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಐದು ಆನೆಗಳ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯನ್ನು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಕಾಳಿ ಹುಲಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಆರ್‌ಎಫ್‌ಒ ರವಿ, ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಗಮನದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಬಂಧ ವಿಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಪನ್ಸೋಲಿ ಆನೆ ಬಿಡಾರವು ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ನಿರ್ಬಂಧದಿಂದ ಕೆಲ ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರಾಮ ಬಿದ್ದಂತಾಗಿದೆ.

Temporary Ban Imposed on Public Entry to Pansoli Elephant Camp

Joida: In the wake of the recent tragedy reported at the Dubare Elephant Camp, authorities have imposed a temporary restriction on public entry and elephant viewing at the Pansoli Elephant Camp located in Joida taluk of Uttara Kannada district.

Officials stated that tourists will not be allowed to enter the camp until further orders are issued. The decision has been taken as a precautionary safety measure. Staff members are continuing the monitoring and care of the five elephants housed at the Pansoli camp.

Speaking on the matter, Ravi, Range Forest Officer (RFO) of the Kali Tiger Reserve, said the temporary restriction has been enforced keeping the safety of visitors in mind.

The Pansoli Elephant Camp is considered one of the notable tourist attractions in the region, and the restriction is expected to temporarily affect tourism-related activities in the area.
