ಭಟ್ಕಳ: ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಜಾಲಿ ದೇವಿನಗರ ಕರಿಕಲ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಂಜಾ ಸೇವನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಆರೋಪಿ ಯನ್ನು ಭಟ್ಕಳ ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪುರವರ್ಗ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಸಯ್ಯದ್ ಅಬ್ರಾರ್ (ತಂದೆ ಸಯ್ಯದ್ ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ರಹಿಂ) ಎನ್ನುವ ಯುವಕ ಆರೋಪಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತ ಗಾಂಜಾ ಸೇವಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಬಳಿಕ ತಾಲೂಕು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಡೆಸಿದಾಗ ವರದಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ಗಾಂಜಾ ಸೇವನೆ ದೃಢಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಭಟ್ಕಳ ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
Bhatkal: Youth Caught Consuming Ganja in Public Place
Bhatkal: A youth was taken into custody by the Bhatkal Town Police for allegedly consuming ganja in a public area near Karikal Road, Jali Devinagar, on Tuesday.
The accused has been identified as Syed Abrar, son of Syed Abdul Rahim, a resident of Puravarga. During interrogation, he reportedly admitted to consuming ganja.
Following this, he was taken to the taluk government hospital for a medical examination, where the test results confirmed ganja consumption.
A case has been registered at the Bhatkal Town Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
