ಮುರುಡೇಶ್ವರ: ಪ್ರವಾಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮುರುಡೇಶ್ವರ ಕಡಲತೀರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮೂಲದ 8 ವರ್ಷದ ಬಾಲಕ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಅಲೆಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿ ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಕೆ.ಆರ್.ಪುರಂ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಿಂದ 15 ಜನ ಕುಟುಂಬಸ್ಥರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರ ತಂಡ ಪ್ರವಾಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮುರುಡೇಶ್ವರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಬೆಳ್ಳಂಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯಕ್ಕೂ ಮುನ್ನ ಕಡಲತೀರಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿದ ಈ ತಂಡ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಅಲೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಟವಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಅಲೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿ, ಕೃತೀಕ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ (8) ಬಾಲಕಿ ನೀರಿಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.
ಅಲೆಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕ್ಕಿದ್ದ ಇನ್ನೂ ಮೂವರನ್ನ, ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಮೀನುಗಾರರು ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಬಾಲಕಿ ಕೃತಿಕಾವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಘಟನೆಯ ನಂತರ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಮುರುಡೇಶ್ವರ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು.
Tragic Incident at Murudeshwar Beach: 8-Year-Old Boy Drowns, Three Rescued
Murudeshwar: A family trip turned tragic when an 8-year-old boy from Bengaluru drowned after being swept away by strong waves at Murudeshwar beach on Monday morning.
A group of 15 family members and friends from the K.R. Puram area of Bengaluru had arrived in Murudeshwar for a vacation. Early in the morning, before sunrise, they went down to the beach to enjoy the sea. While playing in the water, a sudden strong wave pulled several members into the deep waters.
Local fishermen immediately rushed to the spot and managed to rescue three individuals safely. Unfortunately, they were unable to save Krutika Reddy (8), who drowned in the incident.
Murudeshwar police visited the scene, conducted an inspection, and have registered a case. Authorities have urged tourists to exercise extreme caution when visiting the beach, especially during early morning hours when tides are unpredictable.
