ಭಟ್ಕಳ: ಎರಡನೇ ವಿವಾಹ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಆತನ ಪತ್ನಿಯೇ ‘ಅತ್ಯಾಚಾರ’ ದೂರು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದು. ದೂರು ಪತಿ ವಿರುದ್ದ ದೂರು ನೀಡಿರುವ ಪತ್ನಿ 15 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಳು ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಭಟ್ಕಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಮಿಯೋಪತಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾಗಿಯೂ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಇವರು ಕೆಲವು ತಿಂಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಪದ್ಧತಿಯಂತೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮದುವೆಯ ನಂತರ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯಲಾದರೂ, ಕುಟುಂಬದಲ್ಲಿ ತುರ್ತು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಎಂಬ ನೆಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆ ಕೆಲವು ದಿನದಲ್ಲೇ ಭಟ್ಕಳಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.
ನಂತರ ಆಕೆ ಪತಿಯ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಕರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು. ನಂತರ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 10ರಂದು ಪತಿ ಭಟ್ಕಳಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳಿ ಲಾಡ್ಜ್‌ಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದಾಗ ಅನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ ಗೊಂದಲ ಉಂಟಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದವರ ಎದುರು ಮಹಿಳೆ ತನಗೆ ಬಲವಂತವಾಗಿ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರಲಾಗಿದೆ, ಮದುವೆಗೆ ಮುನ್ನ ಹಲವು ಬಾರಿ ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯಕ್ಕೊಳಗಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈವೇಳೆ ಮಹಿಳೆ ಅವನ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಕಸಿದುಕೊಂಡು, ಈ ವಿಚಾರ ಹೊರಗಿನವರಿಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗದೆ ಇರಬೇಕು ಅಂತಾದರೆ 15 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಒತ್ತಡಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾಳೆ. ಹಣ ನೀಡದೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ದ ಅತ್ಯಾಚಾರ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಪತ್ನಿ ಬೆದರಿಸಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಆಕೆಯ ಪತಿಯ ಆರೋಪ .
ಈ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯ ಕೆಲವೇ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳೆ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ದೂರು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರಕರಣದಡಿ ಆರೋಪಿತನಿಗೆ ಸುಮಾರು 28 ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಜೈಲು ವಾಸ ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜಾಮೀನಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಂಡ ನಂತರ, ಆತ ತಾನು ಹನಿಟ್ರಾಪ್‌ಗೆ ಬಲಿಯಾದೆನೆಂದು ಪ್ರತಿದೂರು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಇಬ್ಬರ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಹಣಕಾಸು ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯ ಅಂಶವಿರುವುದೇ ಅಥವಾ ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ದೂರು ಸಮರ್ಥವಾಗಿದೆಯೇ ಎಂಬುದರ ಕುರಿತು ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ತನಿಖೆಯಿಂದ ಸತ್ಯಾಸತ್ಯತೆ ತಿಳಿದು ಬರಬೇಕಿದೆ.
Wife Sets ‘Honey-Trap’ for Husband in Bhatkal: Complaint Filed
Bhatkal: A peculiar case has emerged where a woman has filed a rape complaint against her own husband, who had entered into a second marriage. It is alleged that the wife who filed the complaint had demanded ₹15 lakh from him.
The accused man was practicing homeopathy in Bhatkal and was also working as a teacher. A few months ago, he married a woman according to community customs. After the wedding, he took her to Bengaluru, but citing an urgent family issue, she returned to Bhatkal within a few days.
She later stayed at the house of the husband’s relatives. On October 10, when the husband returned to Bhatkal and took her to a lodge, an unexpected situation reportedly unfolded. The woman allegedly shouted in front of the people there that she had been forcibly brought and that she had been subjected to sexual assault several times before the marriage.
At this point, the woman allegedly snatched his mobile phone and pressured him to pay ₹15 lakh if he wanted to keep the matter from going public. She reportedly threatened to file a rape case against him if he failed to pay, according to the husband’s statement.
Within a few days of this incident, the woman approached the Rural Police Station and filed a complaint, following which the accused man spent nearly 28 days in jail. After being released on bail, he filed a counter-complaint claiming he had been trapped in a honey-trap.
Police have recorded statements from both parties. Investigation is underway to determine whether there was indeed a financial demand involved or if the woman’s complaint holds merit. The truth will emerge after the police probe.
