ಬಾಲ್ಯದಿಂದಲ್ಲೆ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಅಗತ್ಯ : ಶಾಸಕ ದಿನಕರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ

ಕುಮಟಾ: “ಇಂದಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನಾಳೆಯ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ಸೈನಿಕರು, ನಾಗರಿಕರು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಬಾಲ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಉತ್ತಮ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಿಗಬೇಕು, ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಅತ್ಯವಶ್ಯ” ಎಂದು ಕುಮಟಾ–ಹೊನ್ನಾವರ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಶಾಸಕ ದಿನಕರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಬರ್ಗಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲಾ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನೂತನವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾದ ಪಟಗಾರಕೊಪ್ಪದ ಹೊಸ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಕಟ್ಟಡವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

ಹಿಂದೆ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಇತ್ತು. ಈಗ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಗ್ರಾಮಕ್ಕೂ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಹೊಸ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳು ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಸರಕಾರ ಕೂಡಾ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಪೌಷ್ಠಿಕತೆಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.ಈ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲು ನಾನು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಇನ್ನೂ ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಮಟಾ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಟ್ರೋಮಾ ಸೆಂಟರ್ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ಆಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.

ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರ್ಗಿ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯತ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸಂತೋಷ ಹರಿಕಾಂತ, ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ನವೀನ್ ಪಟಗಾರ, ರವಿಕುಮಾರ ಪಿ ನಾಯ್ಕ, ಮಂಗಲಾ ಗೋವಿಂದ ನಾಯಕ, ಪಿಡಿಓ ಕವಿತಾ ನಾಯಕ, ಎ.ಇ.ಇ ಕಲ್ಪನಾ, ಸಹಾಯಕ ಇಂಜಿನೀಯರ್ ಅಂಜಲಿ ಪಾಟೇಲ್, ಸಿಡಿಪಿಓ ಶೀಲಾ ಪಾಟೀಲ್, ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರ ಪಾಂಡುರಂಗ ಪಟಗಾರ, ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕಿ ಮಹಾದೇವಿ ಪಟಗಾರ, ಸಹಾಯಕಿ ರಾಜೇಶ್ವರಿ ನಾಯಕ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಪಾಲಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.

ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಕಾರ
ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯ ನವೀನ್ ಪಟಗಾರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮುತುವರ್ಜಿ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಕಟ್ಟಡಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಟಿವಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರವಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Quality Early Education Essential: MLA Dinkar Shetty
Kumta: “Today’s children are tomorrow’s responsible soldiers and citizens. Therefore, they must receive quality education from early childhood, and providing high-quality learning in Anganwadis is essential,” said Kumta–Honnavar MLA Dinkar Shetty.

He was speaking after inaugurating the newly constructed Patagarkoppa Anganwadi building at the premises of the Bargi Higher Primary School.

“In the past, the number of Anganwadis was less. But now, as Anganwadis have become essential for every village, new buildings are being constructed everywhere. The government is also giving special emphasis to the education and nutrition of Anganwadi children. I have been continuously working to provide all necessary facilities for education and healthcare in this region. The Trauma Centre at the Kumta Government Hospital will be inaugurated within two months,” he added.

Bargi Gram Panchayat President Santosh Harikant, members Naveen Patagar, Ravikumar P. Naik, Mangala Govind Naik, PDO Kavita Naik, AEE Kalpana, Assistant Engineer Anjali Patel, CDPO Sheela Patil, contractor Pandurang Patagar, Anganwadi Supervisor Mahadevi Patagar, assistant Rajeshwari Naik, along with parents and villagers, were present.

Gram Panchayat member Naveen Patagar took special responsibility in supervising the construction work of the Anganwadi and played a major role in providing essential items, including a television for the building.
