ಶಿರಸಿ: ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಜನರ ಭೂಮಿ ಹಕ್ಕು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರ ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ತರಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಹಕ್ಕು ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರ ವೇದಿಕೆ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ರವೀಂದ್ರ ನಾಯ್ಕ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಭೇಟಿಯ ವೇಳೆ, ಕಾನೂನು ಸಚಿವ ಎಚ್‌.ಕೆ. ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರ ನಿಯೋಗವು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಅರಣ್ಯವಾಸಿಗಳ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮನವಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದೆ.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ರವೀಂದ್ರ ನಾಯ್ಕ ಅವರು, “ಅರಣ್ಯ ಹಕ್ಕು ಕಾಯಿದೆ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನವನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಅರಣ್ಯವಾಸಿಗಳ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಭರವಸೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ನೀಡಿದರು” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ನಿಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೋರಯ್ಯ, ರಾಮು, ಶಿವಣ್ಣ, ಶಂಕರ ಕೊಪ್ಪ, ಶಿವಾನಂದ ಜೋಗಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
Sirsi: The long-standing issue of forest dwellers’ land rights in Karnataka has been brought to the attention of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, according to Ravindra Naik, president of the State Forum for Forest Land Rights Activists.
The delegation, led by Naik, met the Chief Minister at Vidhana Soudha under the guidance of Law Minister H.K. Patil and submitted a formal memorandum outlining the challenges faced by forest dwellers across the state.
Speaking after the meeting, Ravindra Naik stated that the Chief Minister assured the delegation that the government is taking the matter seriously and is committed to the effective implementation of the Forest Rights Act. He also mentioned that a detailed discussion on addressing forest dwellers’ issues will be held soon.
Leaders including Borayya, Ramu, Shivanna (Chitradurga), Shankar Koppa, and Shivanand Jogi from various districts were part of the delegation.
